EXPORT: According to the statistic office of IRI custom's report, in the year 2002, the total amount of none oil export of Iran was US$ 5,972,161,709, part of it, which amounted US$ 33,647,968, was incorporated with exportation to Britain, which was about 0,57 % of the total country's. Export in that year. While at the same time the total amount of export of Iran to the EU was equivalent to US$ 841,902,864, and Britain's share of this amount was only 4%. Therefore as it is stated, Britain stayed in the 36th place among the importing countries of Iran. The Five years trends of Iran's export to Britain (1999-2003)
The trend of export from Britain to Iran was increasing, then decreasing, and again increasing during 1999 to 2003, and also the ratio of Iran's export share to Britain, to the total Iran's export was diminishing, during this five year trend, except for the year 2003 which has shown a little increase.

IMPORT: The total Iran’s importation in the year 1382 (2003) amounted to 26,597,737,51US$. Among them, the EU share to Iran‘s import was about 10,320,942,541US$ and the importation Iran Britain amounted to 887,990,155 US$. The British share to the total Iran’s import was equivalent to 3.34% and to the import form EU was equivalent to 8.6% therefore Britain stayed in the ninth rank among the other exporting countries to Iran:

The trend of Iran's importation from Britain has always shows the positive growth rate, but at the beginning it has been increasing, then decreasing, and again increasing, and also the share of Iran's import from Britain in the ratio of the Iran's total importation has been steady, around 3 to 4%, during this 5 year.
