The 16th issue of the Irano- British Chamber of Commerce, Industries and Mines Quarterly Magazine; which is, in fact, the expressive voice of the Irano British Chamber, as the executive arm of the Irano- British Chamber of Commerce, Industries and Mines for the development of economic relationship, especially in commerce and investment in the two countries of Iran and the UK, is being published and distributed under conditions which seems as if, despite of all last year’s up going and down coming streams, due to the political conditions, the regional and global dominant atmosphere, which continues almost today to reign the economic relationship of the two countries, shows an optimist perspective and a promising future in the establishment of commercial relationships with other countries and especially our presence on the international stage.

Hence, it seems that, regarding the last years’ existing atmosphere on the economic relationships between Iran and Britain, there has been some time the fear that this relationship will end tragically by no matter which reason. The Chamber could, with the requisite intelligence and a close collaboration with British- Iranian Chamber of Commerce, its fellow Chamber; and, by recognizing its role in the development of the mutual relationships, profit, in the healthiest way, from the relationships which would bring in economic development, social welfare and the establishment of intact friendship, peace and security in regional and worldwide levels.

Now, that the era of the current year for us, the Iranians, is going to reach the end, and a new year is going to start; with our inherent good faith, I would like to congratulate, from my own side and on behalf of all the staff of publication and distribution of this magazine, the coming of Nowrooz, this ancient, prosperous celebration for new year; wishing that by the grace of the Great Lord, Iranian nation and all active economists could enjoy a fruitful year, full of happiness, health and success in all fields.
